Join us at our signature annual event! This year we welcome the Nao Trinidad Tall Ship replica. The original Trinidad, built in the 1500s, was commanded by Fernando de Magallanes who was captain of the expedition that completed the first circumnavigation of the world. Historical exhibit tours led by Nao Trinidad’s bilingual crew include:
- Historical facts about the original Nao Trinidad
- Details of some of the ship’s achievements
- Descriptions of how this type of ship was sailed back in the day
- Tales about the conditions people on board had to endure
