From the artist:

My photography originally began as a supplement to go with my writing magazine and newspaper articles about saltwater fishing in the Newburyport, Massachusetts area where I have been a long-time resident. Many of my photographs have been published in the Newburyport Daily News, The New England Fisherman Magazine, & Saltwater Sportsman Magazine. Several of my more scenic fishing related photographs have also been published in a pictorial book titled “Greater Newburyport, A Photographic Portrait” and my photo “Golden Cast” was one of the award winners. Some of my photographs have additionally won awards at the Topsfield Fair Fine Arts Division.

My photography has gradually evolved into more scenic photographs of Newburyport and its surrounding communities along with images from my international travels abroad. I am primarily self taught but have taken a variety of photography classes over the years to sharpen my skills. My vision as an artist is to reach out and capture and preserve a scene that is pleasing to the eye or tells an interesting story. One of my greatest artistic thrills is to have someone look at one of my photographs and simply enjoy their aesthetics and have them feel something special from them.
