Saturday Morning Drawing Class for Grades 4-6

DATES: The class runs from March 16th-June 1st (excluding Memorial Day weekend) from 9-11:00am.

Registration required. Limited to 15 spots. Registration closes March 15th.

Children grades 4-6 are invited to the Custom House on Saturday mornings to receive drawing instructions and encouragement. Led by local artist and educator Arthur Sullivan, children will have the opportunity to draw historic objects from life and to learn more about the history of art and drawing as it relates to our maritime past. Mr. Sullivan’s enriching and encouraging instruction supports children in their creative practices while enabling them to explore their own artistic voice—all in an engaging and inspiring museum setting!
