FILL THE TREE!
What a success the lighting of the Holiday Tree was and we need your continued support to fill in those blank spaces!
Over 300 people enjoyed the songs sung by the Newburyport Choral Society despite the cold, as we gathered around for the countdown! Let’s keep the momentum going to fill the tree!
Mark your calendar for Friday, December 10, from 6 – 9 for another fabulous Invitation Night. The Newburyport Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will be serving hot chocolate & selling Newburyport Spirit Wear. For more Invitation Night details, visit Invitation Nights 2021.
All are welcome. Bring your family and friends to help us fill the tree!
Your purchase of a “life ring” provides support for the CHMM’s many programs and exhibits. Right now, purchase your life ring at www.buyalifering.com or stop by the CHMM store. Please decorate your ring in a way that is meaningful for you – to celebrate your family, our community, or the holiday season. Return your decorated ring to the Museum and we will hang it on the tree for you.

Many nonprofits will be joining us on the lawn between now and the end of the year. December 10 programming will include:
- Newburyport Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) serving hot chocolate & selling Newburyport Spirit Wear
- A dinghy from Lowell’s Boat Shop, providing a great attraction for kids to explore – and for a photo op!
- The Newburyport Art Association has installed several sculptures on the Lawn.
- Yankee Homecoming will have a food collection box available to support local pantries.
