Examples of Opportunities for Sponsorship:

NEWBURYPORT MARITIME DAYS:
Our annual event during which tall ships grace the Newburyport pier. Daily activities offer fun and education to Newburyport area residents, while bringing tens of thousands of visitors to downtown businesses.

FIRST FRIDAYS:
On the First Friday of the month, the museum showcases historical presentations of maritime artifacts, guest speakers, or events in celebration of Newburyports rich and intriguing history for our members. It is an evening of conversation, great food, drink and company, and maritime history in the heart of downtown Newburyport.

ANNUAL EXHIBIT: Highly focused exhibits of artifacts and documents from our collection, as well as from other area museums, that bring our history to life.

EDUCATION PROGRAMSDevelopment of virtual education programs and K-8 outreach programs.

INTERNSHIPS:  A great educational experience for both college and high school students, in which they will gain hands-on familiarity with museum collections and operations.

RESEARCH: The museum’s collection of archival material has lent itself to various types of publication by independent researchers. Sponsor a project or the preservation of historical materials!
